How to Open Sound Library Explorer on macOS

Because this app is not signed with an Apple Developer account (haven't got money to spend yearly on apple developer account), macOS will block it the first time you try to open it. It is fully safe and here’s how to allow it:

1. Try to Open the App

  • Double-click the SoundLibraryExplorer.app.

  • in your Applications folder (or wherever you saved it).

  • You’ll see a message:
"Sound Library Explorer can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer."

2. Open System Settings

  • Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen.

  • Select System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).

3. Go to Security & Privacy

  • In the sidebar, scroll down and click Privacy & Security.

4. Allow the App

  • At the bottom of the window, you’ll see a message:
"Sound Library Explorer was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer."

  • Click the Allow Anyway button next to this message.

5. Open the App Again

  • Go back and double-click the app again.

  • This time, you’ll see a new prompt:
"macOS cannot verify the developer of Sound Library Explorer. Are you sure you want to open it?"

  • Click Open.

6. Done!

  • The app will now launch and you won’t have to repeat these steps for future launches.

Note: This process is standard for all unsigned apps on macOS. Your Mac remains secure, and this only allows this specific app to run.

Your Privacy Comes First: Sound Library Explorer does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data—ever. All of your audio files and personal information stay 100% on your Mac. No user data is sent to the developer or any third party, ensuring complete privacy and security for your creative work.
